Yes indeed, Mr. Carl Johnson has been around for more than nine decades! He asked us to give him a call and talk about his life and he wants to join us for Alumni Day 2012. He is 96 years old now. What a great thing that's going to be, I want to chat with him about life at Hollywood High in the 1930's. I can't wait. Carl is…

Thanks for the update. I was in the Graduation Class of 1954. (Not 56) In 1956 I graduated from Los Angeles City College and went on to LA State and UCLA later on the GI Bill to get my BA. I recently got a reprint copy on E-bay of the 54/55 Yearbook Poinsettia it still had inscriptions & comments to someone named " Myron", HA HA . You hope you never make a typo in your life and of course we have spell checking software, but somehow, just as you go to send a file to the printer, an extra "o" gets into the word "school" and you start a riot. I assure you the fault is all mine, I am barely awake at 12am writing these things, juggling the demands of putting out content and keeping it entertaining at the same time.
Thank you to…
