In Loving Remembrance of Raymond Paul Butler
Born in Swissvale, Pennsylvania on February 27, 1924. Closed his smiling Irish eyes on April 15, 2011 in LakeView Terrace, California. Preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Virginia, in 2008. Ray graduated Hollywood High School - Class of 1942. He joined the United States Navy out of High School. He is survived by his brother, John "Jack" Butler; children, Colleen, Steve (Vicky), Bob, Mike, Patty (Marc Coombes) and Tom Butler; grandchildren, Christy and Caryn Godfrey, Tina (Mike Collier), Todd Butler, Tammy, Jay and Kenny Coombes; and great grandchildren, Delanie, Maggie and Cody Collier. His love of family and friends, quick wit, and great smile will be greatly missed. Private Family Service. Callanan Mortuary callanancares.com
