Rollin' On The River with Kenny Rogers and The First Edition:
Not being very techie, I was very impressed to learn that we could restore and preserve this historic 1970s classic television series by transferring the old 2 inch tape, called quad format to digital format, which improves the picture and sound quality.
If you enjoy the Rock n' Roll and R&B music of the '60s and '70s, you will enjoy the "Remember" DVD. We have received many, many glowing reviews from the entertainment press. Many of these reviews are posted on the http://www.rememberthe70s.com/ web site.
I am the Treasurer of the HHS Alumni Association, and Dan Doyle, the Vice President and I may be planning the 50th at the Roosevelt. I'll keep you posted!
I am Sue Furness (Silvestri) Class of '66. I was in the same class with Doug who is now known as "Silvio" Silvestri. He is my ex-husband, not my brother! lol. Here is his website address: www.silviosilvestri.com. He has contact information on there. They moved to La Quinta, CA.
Hal,
I'm glad you are going to attend, and that you can help by reaching out to your contacts. The help is welcomed and I appreciate you giving me updates. Thanks.
Good to hear from you. Thanks for the welcome aboard. Hope all is well with you and yours. Love the motorcycle. That is a great picture.
Did you get the invite for the HHS Reunion for the classes of '65 and '66 set for November 13, 2010? If you did I hope you can make it. I would enjoy seeing you and catching up in person. If you didn't receive it, you can call me at 661-254-1217 for information, or you can go to GreatReunions.com. and check it out. Do you know anyone from our class or the '65 class that isn't listed here, who may have been missed? If so, please spread the word, or have them contact me. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks, Diane
I just wrote to you on another "page"
and, as I was writing it all disappeared.
I know where I got the store thing from..
It was what Tim wrote about... Sorry for the confusion.
Lisa
thnx for forwarding this HHS pg to me--should be fun to see hits on us--I'll send an e to Maria and Aggie and get them on it. Headed over to Mom's in about 90 min.--we'll see a flick and do some shopping. Gotta another cold---everybody at the store tells me it's cuz of the $$$$ handling---we don't have those antibacteria wipes at the counter and I'm probably not taking care....that and the added "stress" (??!!) of running---organizing--training---etc. the new store while bouncing back and forth in the 2 we currently have. I'm switching over to the Hyatt on Mon. to work with that staff cuz they're probably coming over to Ward with me in Aug.--unless I delete a few....after two weeks---Michael gave me a performance raise= $5K more so I'm now making 55K with another promised incr. when we open Ward. So this is what being paid for your worth is ALL about, eh?
Let's talk while I'm with Mom--hope all is well there.
Love, TJ
p.s. we still don't have Managers for our Maui, BI and Kauai stores--any int.? ;-)
