Hi, Howard! Here's the follow-up to the original reunion message from last month.
Fellow January and June 1967 Hollywood High School grads!
This is a Call for Commitment!
It’s been 50 years since we graduated, and 20 years since the summer class had its last reunion. So it’s about time to connect again in person – beyond Facebook and Instagram! Plans are underway for a reunion Saturday evening, July 8, 2017.
We have a “soft hold” on a dining room right on the beach at Gladstones restaurant where Sunset Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway meet in Los Angeles.
We need a commitment from 50 alumni and guests to attend the Class of 1967 50-year Reunion at a cost of $110 each. Right now we only need the commitment as soon as possible – or sooner! -- so we can move forward. Collection of checks will happen later. Please respond to HHSClass1967@aol.com and please spread the word to other 1967 HHS grads! Thanks from your planners, Mark (Bruce) Ostrian and Rosalie Drantch Fox Huntington.
Howard! How are you? Can you believe it's been 30 years since we did that video for our 20-year reunion? (My head's spinning!) I'm involved in our 50-year reunion now! Here's the spiel:
Our great Class of 1967 at Hollywood High School is planning a 50-year Reunion! While the date is still to be confirmed, we are aiming for Saturday, July 8, 2017. Please join us for discussion and information on our new Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/1242168039166124/?ref=bookmarks
Because this is a “closed” or private group, you’ll need to request to join. You’ll be approved as a member soon after. (It’s Facebook, so it’s free!)
Rollin' On The River with Kenny Rogers and The First Edition:
Not being very techie, I was very impressed to learn that we could restore and preserve this historic 1970s classic television series by transferring the old 2 inch tape, called quad format to digital format, which improves the picture and sound quality.
If you enjoy the Rock n' Roll and R&B music of the '60s and '70s, you will enjoy the "Remember" DVD. We have received many, many glowing reviews from the entertainment press. Many of these reviews are posted on the http://www.rememberthe70s.com/ web site.
What, no photo?? For a lifetime photographer like yourself? I am canvassing the Members to match them up with those in our class also appearing on Classmates.com so I can help Valerie by steering over classmates not yet over at this site yet and being misled with other reunion news. I have some family photos posted on my page (Ariana Bruck Fulginiti) and did send David an email indicating a reminder to check in with the Events link on hhsalum.org where our class reunion (1970) and contact info is listed. Date for 40th reunion is tentatively July 24th (last Sat of July) in 2010.
I haven't lost track of my mission for you both; unfortunately, I think your brother has gone and given up on me.
