Rollin' On The River with Kenny Rogers and The First Edition:
Not being very techie, I was very impressed to learn that we could restore and preserve this historic 1970s classic television series by transferring the old 2 inch tape, called quad format to digital format, which improves the picture and sound quality.
If you enjoy the Rock n' Roll and R&B music of the '60s and '70s, you will enjoy the "Remember" DVD. We have received many, many glowing reviews from the entertainment press. Many of these reviews are posted on the http://www.rememberthe70s.com/ web site.
Debbie Lowande...Hmmm...her name is familiar but I cant picture her face.
You I remember 100%.
Perhaps you remember Tom Peavey (one of the only 3 doorman who worked there). I can distinctly remember him saying to me while we were in the dressing room putting on our uniforms(on more than one occasion), "Roberta is working tonight!" We both had huge crush on you.
The supply room to the snackbar was behind it and 4 feet lower and there was a sliding door through which I would pass buckets of ice along with candy and popcorn.... Tom and I would fight for the honor of being the one to give supplies to the girls and look through that sliding door at floor level and see all the cute legs. We fought extra hard on the nights that you worked.
Such are the fond memories of being 17.
:-)
Hey Roberta!
I was just scrolling through the list of alumni names and had to stop and write this note as soon as I saw yours.
I dont know if you'll remember me but I deffinately remember you.... especially wearing your Pacific Theater uniform with those blue tights that showed off your cute legs. I was one of the doormen working at the Dome. Those were some fun times.
I hope you are doing well.
