Rollin' On The River with Kenny Rogers and The First Edition:
Not being very techie, I was very impressed to learn that we could restore and preserve this historic 1970s classic television series by transferring the old 2 inch tape, called quad format to digital format, which improves the picture and sound quality.
If you enjoy the Rock n' Roll and R&B music of the '60s and '70s, you will enjoy the "Remember" DVD. We have received many, many glowing reviews from the entertainment press. Many of these reviews are posted on the http://www.rememberthe70s.com/ web site.
We do go up to visit on occasion - though it's been a while. I have ridden those bike trails. They are fabulous, especially where they wander off where no road is nearby.
My sister and her family used to live off of Bollinger Canyon just off of St. Mary's Road. But 15 or 20 years ago they moved way up Bollinger Canyon to a beautful spot on 20 acres of land. You can still hear the bells at St. Mary's when you're outside their house.
Tried to send her a message on MyFamily 50-59 site we have, but did not hear....I don't use that mail system usually..maybe she feels same...good to hear from you...and thanks!
BTW (as I see you live in Walnut Creek - maybe I knew that but anyway I do now) - my sister and her family live in Moraga - they've been there for about 20 years.
Well, you are right about the "Dorothy" and the 1957...I thought by your last name, which is not most common, and it's Dorothy's now, you may be related. Another school pal of ours, Dan Gruenberg who was Boys Dean at Grant HS has met Dorothy's daughter...who I guess would have the last name as yours...and said she was a police officer and he thought highly of her..I saw Dorothy last at a reunion we had (40th) at Redondo Beach...thanks for answering...appreciate your time...
