Rollin' On The River with Kenny Rogers and The First Edition:
Not being very techie, I was very impressed to learn that we could restore and preserve this historic 1970s classic television series by transferring the old 2 inch tape, called quad format to digital format, which improves the picture and sound quality.
If you enjoy the Rock n' Roll and R&B music of the '60s and '70s, you will enjoy the "Remember" DVD. We have received many, many glowing reviews from the entertainment press. Many of these reviews are posted on the http://www.rememberthe70s.com/ web site.
Just left a message for you at the classmates.com site not having pored through this one as extensively as I am doing today. So, you probably already know our reunion is on July 24th -- calling it a tentative date right now -- and have already checked updates on the Events link of this site (Class of 1970 40th reunion news). I only signed up at classmates.com when it became evident that we had 156 class members signed up there and someone was misleading all class members into believing that the "Mega Reunion" he was organizing was the same as the one the class is doing on its own. So, naturally, it has been a process to track down first those I know and know me and then comb through the rest in the second run. I only agreed to help the committee keep an eye on Tim Salaver (Class of 1980) who has already gotten himself into trouble with the alumni assn. before by deceiving other class years and members, and to recruit as many recognizeable class members and others who graduated in 1970 with us so we can add to a bigger reunion group. My fondest memory of you was during our junior high school senior year (that would be 9th grade) when we became competitors in the race to win the Class VP. You won, of course, and I forget who your running mate was....someone named Greg Iwasaki, was it? I forget who mine was as well. Ever since then, I cannot help but smile when I recall how shy you really were back in those days (junior high) and later in our early high school years. Hope life has treated you well and that you have, at the very least, had a fulfilling, adventurous and very transformational transition from the innocent, carefree school days into adulthood.
