Performing Arts Magnet Productions Available on DVD (Friends of Hollywood High Parent & Alumni Group for the Performing Arts Magnet) )

Jerry Melton, the first Magnet Coordinator at Hollywood High, filmed some of the productions at the school with his VHS camcorder (back in the 80's when the Magnet began). These videos have been in his personal library all these years. Mary Melton, his daughter and also a graduate from the Hollywood High Magnet program, has generously donated these tapes to Friends of Hollywood High as a fundraising opportunity.

Funds from the sale of these DVDs will be used to make Lobby Displays of past shows. These are NOT professional recordings. We have included some "previews" so that you get a sense of the quality. Although they do not do justice to the amazing live productions we remember, most of us have no record of these memories. In that spirit, we hope that you buy these DVDs to enjoy the reminiscing and to share with your friends and family!

We have 12 productions right now but hope to have more soon.  Each DVD is $12 (and includes domestic shipping).
