Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach - Race Day

The sights, the sounds, the unique vantage points, all of which make up the premiere closed course temporary street race in the world.

From the top of the Wells Fargo Building at the corner of Ocean Blvd. and Pine Ave., to the Fountain Corner at the aquarium, ending up at the General Admissions grandstands located on the southern end of the front straightaway grandstand bank ... This IS Champ Car! ... This IS The 33rd Addition Of The LBGP!

I am an Inner Circle Champion because there is absolutely nothing like the thrill of competition on the "EDJE" (pronounced edge)!

That is a great run ... I have been to the race about 27 or 28 of the last 35 years ... I really live for the sport. Recently, I have been able to go to the last two races (the last CCWS and the first full IRL races) on a Press Pass.

If you take a look at the video "Heads In The Game", you will see some of what I was able to capture while I was able to be in the pits. Turn up the sound ... Kings of Leon, "Sex On Fire" is a great rock song to listen to while thinking of North American Open Wheel Racing!

Ed, thanks for sharing. I have been going to the LBGP for the last 17 years. We have our seats down in Turn-1 in grandstand #5. It is always one of the highlights for the year. Now that the 2 leagues are back together, it's been a good thing for us fans.
