Is it not customary to have a 50 yr Class Reunion?

I graduated S'67 and am shocked that there was no mention of one.  I had been looking forward to attending my 50th.  Could someone answer this for me?  I feel a bit perplexed.

Bob, Hi. We are planning a 50-year reunion for the Winter and Summer 1967 classes combined. It will be this Fall 2017 in Los Angeles. The date will be announced in about a week. To make it a success, we are gathering contact information from as many 1967 alumni as possible. Please email HHSClass1967@aol.com. In addition, please ask to join our Facebook page by searching within Facebook for "Hollywood High Class 1967." Go Sheiks!

Bob, why not help organize it? Late is better than never. There's plenty of resources online to help including companies that make it happen pain-free. I helped organize my 10-year reunion and I was not the class president.
