Computer savvy???

It doesn't look like anybody in my grade or earlier does much on the computer.  Is there anyone out there from the Class of 1951 who can read this???

Hi,   My Husband Dick Lamb  and I   Charline Crowder attended Gardner St. Grammar school,  Bancroft and of course Hollywood.   Dick Graduated in Winter 1950 and I did with Gretchen in Summer 1951.   We have lost so many of our dear friends the last few years.   My High school friend and eternal companion of 63 years this year, passed Aug. 2010.  I love to hear from Hollywood Friends.   [e-mail]

Good Morning Gretchen..... Just signed up....Not much to say, I am retired Navy type living on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and have not been in LA for a long time. I was also a Bancroft type that rode the trolley to school.  Got to Hollywood and drove my Dad (Ralph Burleigh, chem/physics teacher at HHS) nice to see some names that I still remember.  Have a Great Day now, Dave

Happy to see any of our 1951 classmates.     Also Dick's friends from 1950.   Dick and I lived in the San Fernanco Valley before moving to Prescott, Az    21 years ago.   Dick and I both went to Gardner, Bancroft and then Hollywood High.   We went back on our 50th Wed. anniversary and boy what a change.   The Farmers Market was about the only thing that was about the same.   That was 13 years ago.   I still keep in touch with many of our friends.   The Jugs have been so kind to me since Dick's passing Aug. 22nd, 2010.

He had kept in touch and they , like I said have remembered me now.  I took the street car sometimes to Bancroft also.   Then girl friends and I would even walk.   We walked and Talked in person then.   Everything our wonderful grandkids and "great grandkids do plug in or of course electronic.   I try and keep up, with their help.   Gretchen and I keep in touch.   We both went to the same schools.  Do you remember Nancy Murphy?   She was a dear friend after High school also.   She has passed several years ago.   Actually, Dick and I have always been keepers of memories.   I am now looking at our Annual and see your Dad Ralph Burleigh's photo.    Next to Marion Caspary, English.   I haven't looked at these for years, guess that is what my next hour will be doing.    You also have a Great Day.
