Moved to Hollywood from New York and graduated from Hollywood High School. Started working at Lockheed Aircraft Corp. Skunk Works in 1940. He met his wife, Devi at the roller rink in Hollywood and eloped to Las Vegas in 1941. They were married 74 years. He loves scuba diving, surfing, boating, water skiing and flying R.C. airplanes, teaching friends ad family how to fly them. he is survived b his wife Devi; son and daughter  in-law, Bart and Shirley Rogers; and daughter and son in-law Candi and Keith Beswick; grandchildren, Matt and Sarah Rogers, Holly and Mark Gieseke, Mike and Robin Murrin, Chip Rogers and Amy Rogers; great grandchildren, Bryce, Brett, Brittney, Sean, Abbey and Summer; and extended family members.
