Looking for memories of his father~Frederick Dominic Von During Class of 1929 -1933

While looking through the Hollywood High website..My father went to school there I'm thinking 1929-1933..I know he mention it when I was 10 or 12 years old. He passed away in 1961,his name is almost exactly the same as mine..he was Frederick Dominic Von During.
The last name is two words Von During, although during WWII he temporarily changed it to Fred D. During so he could enlist and fight Germans. Anyway, I didn't know where to start..I guess if there is a list of student names from those years it would be a start. When my dad passed, I didn't appreciate all the star names he mentioned as even in the late 50's they were retiring although he did work for Warner Brothers for a while and was working at Technicolor at the time of his death. This is just a stab in the dark to find anything more about him and I wouldn't know where to begin to find Graduates albums/class photos of those year. Any help at all would be fantastic. I only hope someone might recognize the name,
