I agree with the mayor...the point has been made....just lying shanty town encampments eventually becomes a nuisance without solving anything.

But beyond this is the hard truth that there's not much the occupy crowd can do against international capitalism whioh will protect itself against such a movement. Politicians may give lip service to the cause, but there's little they can do since America no longer controls its destiny...or to out it more bluntly...this country has shot its wad...live with it..,check out www,uddebtclock.org and www,hard-truths.blogspot.com

What does this have to do with the alumni association of Hollywood High School? Many of the alumns do not live in Los Angeles and are more interested in issues/activities directly related to the school.
