This weekend, the Hollywood High School Alumni Association was informed that Dan Doyle, the COO of Jack LaLanne Products, would be donating a brand new laptop to the Association for use on the many computer-related member projects including managing the mailing lists and website. Dan was Class of 1966 at Hollywood High School. The donation is being made in the memory of the recently-departed fitness pioneer Jack LaLanne and his daughter Janet Doyle. The company's anchor product is the Power Juicer that we've all come to see on TV.
This is a phenomenal donation of much-needed equipment, not like a hand-me-down of surplus or unwanted computer equipment like many charities receive (that aren't really useful), rather a brand new state-of-the-art computer.
Because of these type of generous commitments, we have been able to acquire additional information and grow our membership list in the past six months from 7,000 individuals to over 13,000 alums.
I'd like to give a huge THANK YOU to Dan Doyle, Jack LaLanne Products and the entire team at their company.
We really appreciate you!
