This past school year saw Hollywood High School 's Performing Arts Magnet making news, the elite magnet singing group H2O under the direction of Celebrity Musical Director Stormy Sacks performed on at the Los Angeles Convention Center in front of 6,000 people on stage with the Broadway Cast of the Tony Award Winning show MEMPHIS.
H2O also perfomred live on KTLA Morning News, KCAL 9 News which mentioned Hollywood High School.
The ABC Network Show 20/20 profiled the Hollywood High School Performing Arts Magnet which aired this Feb.
H2O Performed at the Staples Center as they sang the national anthem at the Clippers Game in front of a SRO Crowd.
Last week H2O and Stormy Sacks was a celebrity Guest on the James and Sunda Show which airs every Wednesday night at 7:00pm & 10:00pm on JLTV Network ( Jewish Living Tv) seen nationwide and Canada in 46 million homes and in 116 countries around the world. This episode featuring Stormy Sacks and H2O will air in two weeks, JLTV Network is seen on Direct TV and on Time Warner, on Tme Warner its Ch 177.
This past Saturday H2O was the featured performers for the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences outdoor Oscars night at the movies, H20 performed just before the showing of The Wizard of Oz, one of the numbers they performed was an incredible arrangment by Stormy Sacks that had the crowd on its feet!
Oct 20th will see the Hollywood High School Performing Arts Magnet fundraiser hosted by the Friends of Hollywood High School, with a CELEBRITY PANCAKE BREAKFAST, from 8:30am-Noon all you can eat pancakes made by Sean Kanan Star of the CBS Daytime Drama The Bold & The Beautiful & tv stars with live performances by H2O and Vocal Pros, an event that will help raise much needed funds for the productions this year and off set costs of the director for the productions, the pancake breakfast is $5.00 per person.
The HHS PAM and H20 are in the news and making history and keeping the Legacy of Hollywood High School alive and well. Keep watching more news to come.
