Herminia E. (Nagel) Jensen, Graduate of Hollywood High - Summer 1945, and resident of Arcadia for 66 years, passed away on March 28, 2014 at Vista Cove, Arcadia, reaching the age of 86 years. She is survived by her three children, Ernie, Marlene and Laura, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren with 3 more on the way. Susie volunteered her time in the community as an active member of PTA, a Cub Scout leader and a longtime supporter of the Boy Scouts. She was a Camp Fire Girl leader as well as a volunteer for the Los Angeles County Arboretum for over 35 years and a member of Coeds at the Church of the Good Shepherd. Susie's passions were her family, her garden and an avid love of square dancing and round dancing spanning 45 years.
Susie's motto for life was, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". She lived this kindness each day of her life.
