Making juice from our tropical guavas. There are three varieties in the pot. Malaysian Red, Thai white and Mexican pink. I stew them with water to the top of the fruit, cover and simmer for twenty minutes. Turn heat off and leave lid on overnight, next day strain the juice off the fruit, freeze it in Rubbermade juice containers with the pop up lids. Now we can enjoy this in the off season! Guavas grow very well in Southern California!
