We are pleased to offer this extremely RARE, wearable piece of movie history—a 100% authentic Varsity style jacket made solely for the crew members of James Cameron's iconic Terminator 2.
This jacket is of the highest quality—the top movie crew members in the business, from wardrobe to explosives experts to those famed stunt men and women and more, are fiercely competitive to work on a James Cameron film, and as fiercely proud and loyal to him when they do. Even on such a big movie usually only about 100 of these jackets are made and issued, and you won't be finding one in a Goodwill store—they're hanging in the crew guys' and gals' closets, a prized possession.
In fact, we have it directly from James Cameron himself that this isn't his personal jacket because we checked with his production company—no doubt he knows that because he has his. But it's the real thing, guaranteed—when friends ask you where you got it, you can just say that Cameron says it isn't his…but it's from his T2 crew. James Cameron's assistant confirms this is a real crew jacket 100% authentic. Proof will be provided by email upon request.
The jacket, with a black wool body and leather arms, is size large and made in the USA by Sew Cal Logo, a high end firm which specializes in providing these limited edition crew jackets to the movie industry. The front features the futuristic T2 logo, and the back, TERMINATOR 2 JUDGEMENT DAY both direct embroidered.
As issued these jackets are never available to the public. But this one has been generously donated for this auction—that's how we know it's 100% authentic—and 100% of the proceeds go to the Hollywood High School Alumni Association.
Hollywood High—whose alumni include Laurence Fishburne, Judy Garland, James Garner, John Huston, Chuck Jones, Alan Ladd, Ann Miller, Ricky Nelson, Sarah Jessica Parker, Mickey Rooney, Sharon Tate, Lana Turner, Tuesday Weld, the original King Kong's love interest Fay Wray, and the seller of this rare Hollywood artifact himself—me (class of 1987).
