I attended San Fernando State College at Northridge for several years after high school and transferred to Florida Atlantic University where I earned my Bachelor Degree in Ocean Engineering in 1971. From there I spent two years at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where I earned my Master Degree in Ocean Engineering in 1973 and found my true love, Danielle. I landed an interesting job at General Dynamics in Groton, Connecticut building Nuclear Submarines until 1978 when we moved to Russellville, Arkansas where we started a family business building commercial buildings and water treatment plants. In 1990 we got out of the way too financially risky construction business and we found jobs at the local nuclear power plant (Arkansas Nuclear One). We raised two wonderful sons and retired in 2012. We spend our time doing landscape and home improvement projects around our home, visiting and being visited by friends and family, taking care of our elderly parents and enjoying our retirement.
