Rollin' On The River with Kenny Rogers and The First Edition:
Not being very techie, I was very impressed to learn that we could restore and preserve this historic 1970s classic television series by transferring the old 2 inch tape, called quad format to digital format, which improves the picture and sound quality.
If you enjoy the Rock n' Roll and R&B music of the '60s and '70s, you will enjoy the "Remember" DVD. We have received many, many glowing reviews from the entertainment press. Many of these reviews are posted on the http://www.rememberthe70s.com/ web site.
Maureen, I so remember KTLA! I attended Cheremoy Elementary, and Le Conte Jr High. KTLA was on Sunset and on my walk down Bronson Ave to Le Conte. I grew up in the Bronson/Franklin Ave areas. Rob Valentine
Maureen, This is from Rob Valentine. I don't know how that other site got our infor; most likely via this site. How are you? I live in Oakland, on the border with Berkeley. Left LA in '79. Came back to Alumni Day in '98 and '99. Still in touch with Mike Schreeve (would have been Class of '72, but left in '71), Nick Koon (our class), and Ralph Burns (our class). Did you know Eddie O'Brian?
