personal update

After HHS, I went to Barnard College, part of the Columbia University system, for my undergraduate degree and then to Columbia's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences in the Department of East Asian Languages and Cutures. I came to Japan in October 1973 on a Fulbright Fellowship and somehow ended up staying, but I still maintain the condo I inherited from my father not far from the Hollywood sign.

I have been married for over 33 years and currently live in a house in Tokyo with my Japanese husband and four cats (all of different breeds).

Hi Lora, I see you found the web link to our Alumni Association, welcome back. I just registered for our 50th reunion, I hope you can fly in and attend, and perhaps we can recognize some of our fellow classmates.  My 1964 and 1965 yearbooks had some water damage from one of the very few times it rained here in Los Angeles, but I hope to have them both restored by our reunion.  I'll send you your picture if you don't have one.
