After graduation, I started flying for fun. Eight years after I graduated from HHS, I was hired by Trans World Airlines as a pilot on Boeing 707s. From 1967 through 1989, I flew 15,000 hours in Boeing 707, 727, 747 and Lockheed L-1011. In 1991, I retired from TWA on a medical disability.
This photo was taken at Museum of Flight in Seattle about 6 months ago. This is a Boeing 747-100 cockpit, very similar to the model purchased by TWA It was wonderful to be back in the cockpit.
