Born August 12, 1939 in Hollywood, CA to John and Herta (Cours) Roland she was the older sister to Rita. She passed away on May 4, 2012 at 9:56 AM in her home in Thousand Oaks, CA.

Jackie grew up in Hollywood attended Blessed Sacrament, then graduated from Hollywood High School in 1958. She loved the Glamorous "Old Hollywood" she grew up in and was a product of that environment her whole life. She bemoaned the decline of her favorite city and wondered if it would ever be reborn.

Jackie went to work in the banking industry straight from high school and later took a job as a statistician for Fedco Foods where she met her future husband Steve. Together they raised his two children when they received custody a year after being married in 1972.

Jackie was widowed 18 months ago after 38 years of marriage to Steve. She is survived by her son Brandon, sister Rita (Alex) Wehrfritz, stepdaughters Tammy (Gerald) Wells and Tina (Wayne) Jarvis, niece Tracy Hughes, grandchildren Ryan, Allicia, Shayne, Courtney and great-grandson; Isaiah.

Jackie is an 8 time survivor of cancer and has battled it with grace and determination for the last 17 years. God Bless you on your journey Momo. Assisting the family with arrangements is the
