Not sure whether you got my last email (a few minutes ago) but it isn't showing up either on my page or yours, so...??? If it got through, please confirm, okay? Otherwise, I'll have to start again. I had composed the message on the prompt "Send A Message", which may be the way to go as it's more private, I guess than the this very public board.
Dear Laurie,
Well, I realize we're both busy, but I certainly thought I would hear from you by now (I did email you a comment all the way back on July 8th....). All your kids must be out/done with school/college by now. How's your brother? What about your Mom? I lost my mother the week before Christmas in 2008 and am planning an ashes scattering ceremony for Ellis Island which will be done on Sept 8th accompanied by my husband and my brother (Darrow) who'll be flying to stay with us for a week. It is the end of an era -- having lost our Dad a decade ago (1999) and our Mom in Dec '08. I now feel "orphaned" as my brother has coined it. Hope to hear from you one of these days.

Dear Hollywood High School Alumni Association Member:
The Hollywood High School Alumni Association Board is discussing a fund-raiser project utilizing the "Remember the '70s Greatest Hits LIVE" DVD to benefit HHSAA projects.
In the interim:
The "old high school spirit" often leaves the campus right along with the diploma!
My name is Jack Walters, Hollywood High School Alumnus, 1963 summer.
As a Hollywood High School Alumni Association member, I am gambling that -
"I can get by with a little help from my Hollywood High School Alumni Association friends" -
and that my fellow HHS Alumni may have an interest in the "Remember the '70s Greatest Hits LIVE" DVD and would help me get the word out that the product is in the marketplace by telling their friends and other HHSAA members.
This is my first attempt at producing, restoring and digitally remastering a group of top 40 music performances by "Gold Record Artist" of the 1970's and I am hopeful that the HHS Alumni would be kind enough to help me get the word out and that the marketplace is receptive to this classic DVD.

If you could tell a friend or another Hollywood High School Alumnus about the "Remember" DVD, I would be very appreciative, as I am hopeful that a "word of mouth" campaign regarding this DVD will be a powerful example of how to: "Achieve The Honorable!" and produce enough interest to allow me to restore and digitally remaster additional performances, if this DVD is a success.
Thank you for any assistance you may give me with this project.
GO SHEIKS!
Best regards,
Jack Walters

We only send our email to those individuals and organizations that would be interested in the Remember the 70s: Greatest Hits Live DVD. If you do not want any further email please send an email to LongoriaInst@aol.com and we will remove you from the mailing list.
Since you seem to have imposed a Blocked Message icon, I can't open the two Congratulate Them or Welcome Them news items you posted nor can I access your profile page for some reason (yet, I too, am registered at hhsalum.org, so I'm confused). In fact, I have several photos on my page YOU CAN LOOK AT, including a photo of my brother, Darrow (in the light blue shirt) Class of 1972 -- though you should know/remember him without the caption or my having to steer you to it). So....it's been a long time since we were last in touch (our 30th reunion and a bit beyond that, in 2000). Do you have additional photos on your page besides the one I see here?
