Performing Arts Magnet Productions Available on DVD (Friends of Hollywood High Parent & Alumni Group for the Performing Arts Magnet) )

Jerry Melton, the first Magnet Coordinator at Hollywood High, filmed some of the productions at the school with his VHS camcorder (back in the 80's when the Magnet began). These videos have been in his personal library all these years. Mary Melton, his daughter and also a graduate from the Hollywood High Magnet program, has generously donated these tapes to Friends of Hollywood High as a fundraising opportunity.

In Loving Memory of Betty Jean Le Brick Moore

Betty Jean Le Brick Moore Class of Summer 1942 died on March 12, 2012 in Laguna Hills where she had live for the last few years since her husband Clifton A. Moore died.

Betty was one of the early "Rosie the Riveters" building airplanes at Douglas Aircraft during WWII while her husband was serving in the navy.  After the war   she attended cooking schools and restaurant management and became the head preparation at Culver City school. Today's Member Letter: Changing the Image of the Shiek!
